The Stonington Board of Selectmen held a special meeting on this day at 12:00 noon at the Stonington Town Hall. Present were First Selectman William S. Brown, Selectman Peter L. Balestracci and Selectman Stephen E. Bessette. Members of the public and press were also present.
(1) Call to Order
Mr. Brown called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
(2) Comments from the Public
Gail Shea, Pawcatuck, questioned some planning and zoning procedures and handed out written corrections that will be included with the comments she presented at the October 26, 2006 Board of Selectmen’s meeting. (See Attached)
(3) Receive petition re: “Quorum Clarification”
A motion was made by Mr. Balestracci, seconded by Mr. Bessette and voted unanimously to send the petition entitled “Quorum Clarification” to the Town Attorney.
(4) Permit Fee Waiver:
Stonington High School Irrigation System Mr. Brown read a memo from Jason Vincent, Director of Planning, requesting a fee waiver for the installation of an irrigation system at Stonington High School. A motion was made by Mr. Bessette, seconded by Mr. Balestracci and voted unanimously to waive the permit fee for this work.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 12:15 p.m.
