The Board of Finance held a special meeting on this date at 6:00 p.m. at the Police Department meeting room. Members present were Glenn Frishman, Chairman; Andrew Rines, Secretary; Dudley Wheeler; John O’Brien; Bryan Bentz and Kevin Burns. Also present Maryanna Stevens, Director of Finance.
Mr. Frishman called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.
Mr. Wheeler made a motion to approve the minutes of the May meeting as presented. Mr. Burns seconded the motion and voting was unanimous.
Letter from Michael McKee, Superintendent of Schools with questions regarding the set up of a Special Revenue Fund to receive for example, funds for student parking passes, extra-curricular activity fees and field trips. After a brief discussion, Mrs. Stevens stated that it can be done two ways and she would prefer that the Town maintain the account. Mr. Frishman asked that Mrs. Stevens contact Mr. McKee and Mr. Connolly, Business Manager to research further, also contact the Town Attorney, and then draft a letter to the BOE covering the parameters. He concluded that the fiscal representative of the BOE should also be invited to attend a meeting.

Motion made by Mr. Wheeler to set the mil rate at 20.87 and total expenditures of $50,925,700. for the fiscal year 2006-2007. Motion seconded by Mr. Burns and motion passes unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Wheeler made a motion to adjourn. Mr. O’Brien seconded the motion and the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:17 p.m.
